What we collect
When you contact us
If you email or telephone us with an enquiry, we receive whatever you choose to give us — typically your name, company, email address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry.
When you create an account or place an order
Our shop runs on WooCommerce. To create an account or complete an order we collect your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, delivery address and the details of what you ordered. We also keep a record of your order history.
We do not see or store your card details. Payments are handled directly by our payment providers, Stripe and PayPal, who process your payment data under their own privacy terms.
Automatically, when you browse
Like most websites, ours records technical information automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived at the site and the approximate country you are in. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, which are described in full in our Cookie Policy.

Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with organisations that help us run the business, and only so far as they need it:
- Payment providers — Stripe and PayPal, to take payment.
- Delivery and logistics partners — to deliver your order.
- Google — Google Analytics, for website measurement, and Google Fonts, which loads typefaces used on the site.
- Automattic — Jetpack, which provides site statistics and security features.
- Our hosting, backup and error-monitoring providers — who process data on our behalf to keep the site running.
- Professional advisers and authorities — where we are required to by law.
Transfers outside the EEA and the UK
We operate a United States entity, RH Packaging (US) LLC, and some of the providers listed above are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or the EU-US and UK-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become orders — kept while the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
- Order and accounting records — kept for the period required by Irish and UK tax law.
- Account data — kept for as long as your account is open. You can ask us to close it at any time.
- Analytics data — kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation and the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- ask us to erase your data, where we have no continuing reason to keep it;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on.
To exercise any of these, email sales@rhpack.com. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data you can complain to the supervisory authority in your country:
- Ireland — Data Protection Commission, dataprotection.ie
- United Kingdom — Information Commissioner’s Office, ico.org.uk
We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first, so please do contact us before going to the regulator if you are able to.
