What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work at all — keeping your basket contents, remembering that you are logged in, holding your currency choice. Others are optional and are used to measure how the site is used.
The site also uses your browser’s local and session storage for the same purposes as strictly necessary cookies.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the shop and the site to function. They cannot be switched off without breaking basic features.

Analytics and traffic measurement
These are optional. They tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us, so we can improve the site. They are not used to show you advertising.

Third parties this site contacts
Loading a page on this site also sends a request to the following services, which means those services can see your IP address:
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — website measurement.
- Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used in the site design.
- Automattic (stats.wp.com) — Jetpack site statistics.
If you reach the checkout, Stripe and PayPal are contacted so that payment can be taken. Those providers set their own cookies under their own policies.
How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you clear existing cookies, refuse new ones, or be warned before one is set. Bear in mind that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the basket and checkout working.
To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, across every site you visit, you can install Google’s browser opt-out add-on.
